Recording segments are a collection of session filters that can be saved for reuse, enabling you to quickly and repeatedly access your most relevant set of filters.
Predefined segment
Howuku provides you with several predefined segments and all of them are available for all plans. Clicking on the segment will help you filter all your data easily.
- Everyone/ All users: shows all recordings collected without any filter.
- Engaged users: show all recordings from users who have been browsing your website for more than 3 pages and for more than 30 seconds duration.
- Identified users: show all recordings from the identified users.
- Mobile users: show all recordings from users who use mobile to browse your website.
Add segment
All the team member in the organization can add their own segment.
- Go to Recordings from the side menu.
- Mouse over to the Search users button.
- Select the recording filter that you want to search.
- System display all the relevant recordings that matched the selected filter.
- Click on the Add as segment button and enter your segment name.
- The new segment will be created under the My segments tab.
Edit segment
- Go to Recordings from the side menu.
- Select a segment under the My segments tab.
- Mouse over the segment name and select Edit segment to enter a new name.
Delete segment
- Go to Recordings from the side menu.
- Select a segment under the My segments tab.
- Mouse over the segment name and select Delete segment to remove it.
Team segment
All the segments saved in the same organization will automatically appear to the team members. However, editing and deletion in the team segment tab are not allowed.
